1. hmmmm. the concept sounds good. but on reading the pre-issue i can’t imagine wanting to read it again - or contribute for that matter. while i’m a big supporter of anecdotal writing and information about the ‘experience’, there’s only so much i can read of this sort of material without asking ‘so what?’. also, the level of enquiry in some of the improvisations doesn’t interest me particularly - and this ties in with the anecdotal nature of the writing, whilst the writer’s experience is important there is a wider context and history that is being ignored. no need to reinvent the wheel, just need to describe it first.
