scott mitchell and rory hyde have many fascinating projects on the go. this one is their first project as part of Open Source Urbanism, which is exploring information expression in public spaces.
what i love about the spoke-o-dometer project and the blog is that is a great example of open source development which has been clearly documented and credited - so it’s possible to see where source code came from and also see how it was integrated into the project and finally have access to the final code developed by the project. bloody great. plus it looks so cool! i’d love to have it on my bike.

vimeo on the iphone
because of issues with video playback on iphones it’s not possible to view vimeo videos. but there’s a little web service that can convert any rss video feed into an iphone compatible website.
